BAILIFFS have pounced on government owned Times of Zambia and
have seized about 10 vehicles over a 1 million Kwacha owing the
newspaper has.

According to a source at Times of Zambia, the bailiffs ‘AM
trading Ndola’ are expected to grab some more properties
including the printing machines in order to recover the owing –
this is likely to leave the government owned newspaper
paralysed.

So far a Toyota Corolla Axio for the marketing department has
been grabbed including two Toyota Hilux from circulation
department as well as a Ford Ranger Wildtruck belonging to the
Legal Director.

And another Toyota Corolla from the news department has also
been graded by the bailiffs.

While this is happening, the Managing Director of Times of
Zambia Mr Beston Ngoma is currently enjoying himself in London
on a trip sponsored by Citi Bank which was initially meant for
Junior reporters but the MD took it upon himself to go and
enjoy.

This means, employees of Times of Zambia will tomorrow find
their offices locked up.
