Five Constitutional Court Judges alleged to have grossly
mishandled the 2016 election outcome petition by favoring Edgar
Lungu and PF to hold on to power will this afternoon hear a
ruling by the Judicial Complaints Commission JCC and their
Green Party President Peter Sinkamba has exclusively told the

afternoon deliberate its ruling on his complaint over the
conduct of the five constitutional court judges last year
The conduct of the five judges namely; Judges Hilda Chibomba,
Mungeni Mulenga, Anne Sitali, Margret Munalula and Palan
Mulonda on grounds of incompetence and gross misconduct
prompted the Green Party to demand for their removal from the
constitutional court bench.
The ruling will be made at Twangale Park in Lilayi, after which

The allegations of misconduct relate to the election petition
filed by UPND President Hakainde Hichilema and his Vice
Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba vs Edgar Chagwa Lungu, Inonge Wina, the
Electoral Commission of Zambia and the Attorney General.
Mr. Sinkamba alleged that the behavior of the five judges in
the manner they handled the petition from the start to finish
brought the Constitutional Court into disrepute, ridicule or
contempt contrary to Article 143(a) of the Constitution.
